SanDisk Introduces (Write-Once-Read Many) WORM SD cards

SanDisk, the world leader and innovator in flash memory products has introduced it latest product SanDisk SD WORM Cards. SanDisk SD WORM Card is a Write Once Read Many(WORM) digital memory card intended for professional uses such as court testimony, electronic voting, police investigations, Medical devices which retain individual patient treatment data, Cash registers which record transactions for tax collection purposes, Event recorders, such as security cameras and “black box” flight-data recorders and other application where data files must be protected from alteration or deletion.

The new SanDisk SD WORM Card is used the similar principle to DVD-R, where the information you write to the disc will stays and can’t be removed. The different is SanDisk SD WORM Card is able to retain data for up to 100 years. The Digital data written to SanDisk SD WORM card is effectively locked as soon as it is recorded and no has physical way to delete or alter the individual recorded files.
