New Boox 60 e-Book Reader

Dulin’s Books has announced its e-book reader which named as Boox 60. The e-book has been integrated with Wi-Fi connection and Webkit-based browser for users to view news, blogs and wiki sites as well as download content.

The e-book is features with 6-inch Vizplex display with touch capability. The device is powered by a 533MHz CPU and has built-in 512MB memory. The device has been designed to support various types of files including EPUB, PDF, MOBI, HTML, TXT, PDB and CHM. The Boox 60 is also preloaded with Adobe Digital Editions that able to support DRM, EPUB and PDF format. It comes with a 1600mAh battery that able to provide up to 8000 pages turns, supports microSDHC memory card and has built-in text to speech capability. In addition, it supports various images formats including JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF and TIFF, and MP3 player.

The Boox 60 is expected to start shipment by mid of January 2010 and is now available for order with the price tag of $349.

Nokia N900 Is Now Available In US

Nokia has launched its high performance mobile phone N900 in United States. The mobile phone has been featured with a 3.5-inch touch screen, a 5-megapixel of camera, powered by 600 MHz processor, built-in 32GB on-board memory and preloaded with Linux-based Maemo platform.

Other features of Nokia N900:

MiLi Pro Micro Projector For iPhone With Brightness of 10 Lumens

PhoneSuit has announced its new MiLi Pro micro video projector for iPhone. The MiLi Pro has been designed specifically for iPhone 3GS, 3G, 2G and iPod Touch. It sports a unique folding design that unpacks to form an angle dock, stand and horizontally-aimed projector. The ultra-compact projector has been incorporated with an LCOS, LED driven micro projector for display 640 x 480 high resolution images by project up to 40-inch image.



Featured with an internal speaker for high quality audio output, the projector is also integrated with standard dock connector, supports VGA or RCA inputs, and comes with a removable rechargeable lithium-polymer battery and additional spare battery.

The micro projector with brightness of 10 lumens and LED lifetime of 20,000 hours is expected to be available in September 2009 and the price is not yet announced.

Microsoft Security Essentials Beta Will Available Soon

After long awaited, Microsoft has officially announced the availability of its upcoming antivirus software, Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) which formerly known as Morro. The beta version will be released on June 23 for public to test. Base on the report, the application is expected to provide real-time protection against viruses, spyware, trojans and rootkits.



Available in english and portuguese version, Microsoft Security Essentials is also comes as a 32 -bit and 64-bit standalone installer for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 users. The installation of the MSE will consumes about 11MB of spaces and requests additional 140MB free spaces. Beside that, its requests at least 500MHz of CPU speed and a minimum of 256MB RAM, while Vista and Windows 7 are request at least 1GHz of CPU speed and 1GB of RAM.

The public beta will be limited to 75,000 downloads and the finished product is expected to be available by October.

The Japanese electronic manufacturer, Toshiba has added new Mini NB200 netbook to its UK lineup, which has similar specification with the just announced Dynabook UX for Western markets. The NB200 is featured with 10.1-inch wide screen LED-backlit display with 1024 x 600 resolutions.

Powered by 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Toshiba NB200 netbook is also integrated with a 945GSE mainboard. It boasts a 160GB hard drive with free fall sensor, supports Wi-Fi and mobile broadband radios.

Besides, it is Bluetooth enabled built-in 0.3-megapixel webcam, integrated with three USB 2.0 ports and 3-cell battery with 4 hours of life.

Lenovo Unveiled New IdeaCentre A600 Desktop Computer System

Lenovo has just unveiled the expansion of its Idea brand with the addition of a new all-in-one IdeaCentre A600 desktop computer system. The new Idea Centre is claimed by lenovo as the thinnest all-in-one desktop personal computer.

The IdeaCentre A600 features a 21.5 inch frameless screen with 16:9 aspect ratios and 1920 x 1080 pixel full HD resolutions. It also powered with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, up to 4GB of DDR3 Ram, optional ATI Radeon graphics and up to 1TB of hard drive capability. For providing better multimedia effect, it has integrated speaker system with a bass sub-wofer and Dobly Home Theatre audio certification.
